Bozeman Yellowstone International looks exactly how you'd imagine a Montana airport would look: Big, cozy couches, a smattering of fireplaces and a fantastic view of the mountains make it seem more like a log cabin than an airport. Most people who find themselves at BZN claim it's the most beautiful airport they've ever been to, and we can't argue. There aren't as many restaurants and shops here as there are in major cities, but Bozeman more than makes up for it with plenty of seating and an accommodating, kind staff. You won't be totally out of things to do while you're here, though - there are a few great finds you should check out before you grab you Yellowstone rental car.
Bozeman Yellowstone International's only restaurant, the Copper Horse, is on the upper level of the airport right past security - and comes complete with a full bar. It serves up all three square meals a day, with Montana-appropriate menu items like the Wagon Master Omelette and Huckleberry Sundae. If you're in a bit more of a hurry, there's also a grab-and-go Cooper Horse Market nearby.
Before you drop of your Yellowstone rental car, stop by this souvenir shop to pick up a few huckleberry products or souvenirs for the friends and family back home. It's this airport's only gift shop, but it certainly doesn't disappoint.
