The Appalachian Trail stretches from the northeast of the United States all the way south to Georgia. More than 2,000 miles in length, many travellers take up the Trail challenge as a way to explore what this stretch of the States has to offer. Mountainous views give way to woodland wonders as the Trail winds on, but if you’re not inclined to walk all that way, here are our selected spots for a fun-packed drive into the wilderness.
