You will receive a full refund if you cancel your reservation at least 7 days before the scheduled pickup time. No charges will be applied. 
If you cancel between 2 and 6 days before the scheduled pickup time, you will receive a refund of 50% of the weekly rental rate. No additional charges will be applied. 
No refund will be given if you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup time. Your deposit will be refunded if it has already been taken. 

You will be greeted at the location by a Hertz team member who will be available to walk you through the digital pickup experience on the app.  

We will use a trusted third-party provider to check your eligibility against the criteria below to ensure that you fit within our insurance and risk margins: 
• Age: 25+ 
• Valid Private Hire badge 
• UK residency: minimum 5 years 
• UK/EU driving licence: minimum 5 years 
• Convictions: max 6 points (but no serious convictions) 
• Claims: no more than 1 fault claim in last 3 years  

No. We do not require a credit check.

We aim to process and confirm all booking requests within 4 business hours.  

All our vehicles are pre aproved by Uber so you will be able to start accepting trips on Uber immediately after picking up the vehicle as long as your Uber driver status is “Active”.

Yes. We will provide the documents needed to register with other platforms. With Uber, your EV will be automatically loaded into your Uber app so no need to upload any documents.  

We will let you know if your application is unsuccessful and your booking request will be cancelled. No payment will be taken from your debit/credit card. Please feel free to apply again once all criteria are met.

You will have the opportunity join the waiting list and you will be notified via email as soon as vehicles become available.  

Your rental includes comprehensive Hire and Reward insurance. This covers you for carrying passengers and non-hazardous goods for private hire taxi and delivery driver purposes and for personal driving.  

Yes, £1,000 per incident.

We don’t have an excess waiver for this offer. 

Most major debit and credit cards are accepted, excluding American Express.

Yes. The deposit is £150. It will be processed 24 hours before your schedule pickup time (or less if booking is made less than 24 hours before pickup). Please be aware that we release the deposit 14 days after the closure of your rental. We will deduct the balance of any outstanding amounts from it. 

Yes. The vehicle will usually be charged to 95%.  

No. Your insurance only covers the named driver.

Keep app notifications turned on to receive confirmation of the booking request. Once registration and eligibility are validated, you will also get a notification through the app and an email with booking details. The first week’s rental payment will also be charged to your registered card when the booking is confirmed.

You can edit or cancel your booking on the app.

The minimum rental period is 1 week. You can also extend your rental via the app.

Please let us know via the app. Please note that your rental charges will begin from the scheduled pickup time. If you are more than 48 hours late and have not been in touch, your booking will be cancelled, and you will not be refunded the first week’s rental payment.

No. You are not eligible to earn Hertz Gold Plus Rewards points.

No. You can extend your rental via the app.

Yes. The maximum mileage allowance is 1,350 per week. If you exceed your allowance, you will be charged at 30p/mile for any additional mileage.

All invoices will be emailed to you and available in the app.

You will have access to all required documents via the app.
