TERMS AND CONDITIONS

* Discounts will be applied to the price of the time and mileage component of the service, net of VAT, taxes, and any promotional discounts, and do not take into account additional products purchased.

** CartaFreccia reward points are earned on the time and mileage components of the rental, and on additional products purchased, net of VAT, taxes, and any promotional discounts.

  • To earn CartaFreccia reward points, simply book from this dedicated page; or use the Hertz, Dollar, or Thrifty channels dedicated to the partnership; Enter your CartaFreccia code and membership status during booking on page 4 under the "Loyalty Program" heading; provide your CartaFreccia code if booking through a call center or at a rental station. Points will be credited within 45 days of the rental ending.
  • Hertz, Dollar, and Thrifty offers are valid for rentals in Italy and abroad booked and completed by December 31, 2026, and cannot be combined with other ongoing promotions.
  • Discounts will be applied to the price of the time and mileage service component, net of VAT, taxes, and any promotional discounts, and do not take into account additional products purchased.
  • When booking through Hertz channels (website, call center, or agency), Trenitalia passengers must provide a PNR code for a train journey dated no more than 5 days before or after vehicle pick-up.
  • CartaFreccia points are not qualifying and do not count toward status. With CartaFreccia reward points, you can redeem rewards from the CartaFreccia Collection, free tickets, cashback, and much more.
  • To earn CartaFreccia reward points, you must enter your code and membership status when booking and present your CartaFreccia when picking up the vehicle.
  • To receive the Hertz Gold+ bonus of 0.5 reward points per euro spent, you must enter your Gold+ membership number. Enroll for free here.
  • CartaFreccia reward points will be calculated based on the time and mileage components of the rental, and additional products purchased, net of VAT, taxes, dedicated discounts, and any promotional discounts. Any subsequent charges, such as fines or damage to the vehicle, are excluded.
  • Monthly rentals, replacement rentals, and rentals booked through brokers, travel agencies, and tour operators are not eligible for CartaFreccia points.
  • Hertz offers free cancellation for non-prepaid reservations. Prepaid reservations, however, are subject to a cancellation fee for cancellations made more than two days before pick-up.
