How to request Status Match:
Using the email address associated with your Hertz Gold+ member account, email digitalmarketing@hertz.com the following information:
- Your first/ last name
- Your Hertz Gold+ member number
- Proof of competitor status (Member card, monthly statement, personalized welcome email)

*Status match is up to Hertz President’s Circle tier & is only valid for those who have never participated in the status match prior, or if more than five years have passed since a prior status match. Applies to select competitors’ loyalty status. Matched status is valid through December 31 of the second calendar year following the member's status match approval after which member must meet the standard qualifications of that tier to remain eligible. If the member does not meet the standard qualifications within this period to stay in the matched tier, they will be downgraded to Hertz Gold.
¹Points are earned on per day time & mileage charges only. Free rental days cover base rate (time & mileage) only. Taxes, optional extras, & any other fees are excluded. Points earned and status tier are calculated using US Dollars, the values displayed are representative.
²Skipping the line is available at select locations. You can skip the counter once your membership is activated. Your Hertz Gold+ membership will be activated after your first rental.
³Up to 10% off the Hertz base rate applies to rentals in UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, & Luxembourg. 5% applies for the rest of the world. The discount applies to base rate quoted (excluding taxes & any other charges). It does not apply to affiliated rates or rates that are already discounted.
