Yifei Ye
Yifei Ye is a 22-year-old Chinese race driver who is competing for Hertz JOTA in the FIA WEC 2023 series. Yifei, who is also signed as a Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific driver, has a long list of racing achievements, including being the first-ever Chinese Selected Driver in 2023.

Early life and background
Yifei Ye was born in Xi’an, China on June 16, 2000. He showed interest in racing from a very young age, kart-racing in the pro junior circuit at the age of ten. After dominating the karting scene in China, Yifei moved up to the European and international stage before transitioning to Formula 4.

Off-track interests
A generally private person, Yifei enjoys other sports such as basketball and swimming. He is also a big fan of Hollywood movies, the Nolan epic “Interstellar” being his favorite film of all time.
The track isn’t the only place where Yifei packs some heat too. He also loves to cook spicy food, with Chinese hotpot being a personal favorite for him.
