Rental Qualifications and Requirements

Driving is restricted to Alaska. Winter travel to Fairbanks, AK is not recommended as the vehicles are not equipped to handle extreme cold weather. Vehicles must be returned to the location from which they were rented, unless prior authorization has been given by Hertz at the time of the reservation that the vehicle can be returned to a different location. Vehicles are NOT allowed into Canada or the lower United States. No off-road driving is permitted.
