Rental Qualifications and Requirements

Hertz vehicles can only be driven and, with prior authorisation from the Hertz location, dropped off within the European Union*, in Norway and Switzerland.

*Prior authorisation from the Hertz location must be obtained if you intend to drive or drop off the Hertz vehicle in Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece and Romania.

Hertz vehicles may be driven to but not dropped off in Andorra.

Should you bring the vehicle outside of Poland, the following one-off cross-border fee of PLN 307.50 (including tax) will apply.

*Please refer to "Environmental Zones" in the German Rental Qualifications & Requirements if you intend to drive to or drop the vehicle in Germany.

Should these restrictions be ignored all insurance (Third Party Liability, CDW, TP, PAI, Super Cover), if accepted, shall be deemed, null and void. The driver will be held fully responsible in case of damage to, or loss of the vehicle and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle.
