Hertz vehicles cannot be driven in any African, Asian or Middle-East countries, nor in Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia (including Kosovo), Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom.

From the following locations, Hertz vehicles can be driven and/or dropped off into the following countries/cities:

*Hertz vehicles may be driven to Norway but must be returned to Estonia.

*If you wish to drive outside Estonia, you will have to obtain a stamped authorisation from the Hertz counter at time of rental. In addition, the following extra border crossing fee will be added to the rental charges to cover the administrative costs of support and assistance while abroad:

Please note that the above fees are already included in the drop-off charges if you return the Hertz vehicle in another country.

Should these restrictions be ignored, all insurances (Third Party Liability, CDW, TP, PAI, Super Cover), if accepted, shall be deemed, null and void. The driver will be held fully responsible in case of damage to or loss of the vehicle and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle.
