Rental Qualifications and Requirements

Acceptable forms of payment on the internet are limited to major charge cards, or credit card information contained in the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards profile.

Acceptable Charge Cards

American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Diner's Club, Hertz Charge Card. 

Miscellaneous Charge Orders

Not accepted.

Vouchers 

Accepted with a major credit card presented at the counter. Restricted Value Voucher (RCV) in USD are accepted at the time of the rental.

Debit Cards

Hertz will not accept debit cards or prepaid cash cards as a form of payment or guarantee at the time of reservation, or time of pickup. You must present a valid and accepted charge card mentioned above, at the beginning of the rental.  Debit cards may be used for payment upon return.  Eligible debit cards include Visa/Mastercard Reward, AAA Memberone/Membercash.

Cash

Not accepted.
