Rental Qualifications and Requirements

All Hertz vehicles, except luxury vehicles, may be driven outside Bulgaria with special conditions, and only on request from the local Hertz office. The request must be made 5 days prior to the rental pick up date. An additional fee of € 96.00 (including tax) will apply for European countries, or € 144.00 (including tax) for all other countries.

Hertz vehicles are not allowed to travel to the following countries: Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Estonia, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, Ukraine & UK. 

Should these restrictions be ignored all insurance (Third Party Liability, CDW, TP, PAI, SCDW, Super Cover), if accepted, shall be deemed null and void. The driver will be held fully responsible in case of damage to, or loss of the vehicle and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle.
