Rental Qualifications and Requirements

Hertz vehicles cannot be driven into and/or dropped off in any African or Asian countries nor in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Lebanon, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yemen.

Should you leave the vehicle in any of the above mentioned countries, a fee may apply for the repatriation of the vehicle.

Hertz vehicles may be driven into but not dropped off in Greece. 

The following vehicle groups cannot be driven to Italy:

(G5) Polestar 2 Long Range or similar

(V6) Volvo XC60 4x4 Aut. or similar

(Y6) Volvo XC90 4x4 Aut. or similar

If you wish to drive to Russia, please contact your Reservation Centre.

*Please refer to "Environmental Zones" in the German Rental Qualifications & Requirements if you intend to drive to or drop the vehicle in Germany.

Should these restrictions be ignored all insurance (Third Party Liability, CDW, TP, PAI), if accepted, shall be deemed, null and void. The driver will be held fully responsible in case of accidents and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle.
