Hertz vehicles can only be driven into European countries.
Hertz vehicles cannot be driven into and/or dropped off in any African, Asian or Middle Eastern countries nor in Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Spanish enclaves (Ceuta and Melilla), Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
Vehicles may be driven into but not dropped off in Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and United Kingdom.
From 1 October until 1 April, Hertz vehicles cannot be driven into Norway, Sweden and Finland as vehicles are not winterised for extreme weather conditions.
A Cross Border fee of € 30.00 (including tax) will apply, except for customers on business contract rates (CR).
Please note a penalty charge of € 696.00 may apply, should you omit to declare you will be driving the vehicle out of Luxembourg.
*Please refer to "Environmental Zones" in the German Rental Qualifications & Requirements if you intend to drive to or drop the vehicle in Germany.
Should these restrictions be ignored all insurances (Third Party Liability, CDW, TP, PI), if accepted, shall be deemed, null and void. The driver will be held fully responsible in case of damage to, or loss of the vehicle and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle.
