Rental Qualifications and Requirements

Hertz vehicles can only be driven to the following countries: Argentina, Peru and Chile.

If you intend to travel outside of Bolivia, it is necessary to obtain a border permit, an additional fee will be applied for this permit and varies depending on the country you intend to travel to. This authorization is mandatory to get the extraterritorial protection and must be requested 15 days before the beginning of the rental by contacting your Reservation Centre or the rental office.

If you decline all protections and travel to a non-authorized country, you will be held fully responsible in case of damage to, or loss of the vehicle and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle.
