Rental Qualifications and Requirements

Vehicles may not be driven outside Peru.

It is dangerous to drive at night, you are encouraged to drive during the day.

There are many unpaved roads in Peru, especially in the Sierra Mountains and along the coast.  At the time of rental, you will be advised of which roads to follow when travelling to these areas and you must sign a statement acknowledging these instructions. If you drive on any unpaved roads that cause damage to the underside of the vehicle, you will be responsible for payment to repair the vehicle.

Should these restrictions be ignored all insurance, if accepted, shall be deemed null and void. The driver will be held fully responsible in case of accidents and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle.
