Rental Qualifications and Requirements

Vehicles may not be driven on poorly maintained or unpaved roads. This includes, but is not limited to: the Dalton, Steese, Dempster, Elliott, Denali and Taylor highways. Should these restrictions be ignored, the driver will be held fully responsible in case of accidents and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle.

Vehicles are not allowed into Canada or lower 48 states.  

Hertz vehicles cannot be driven into Mexico.

Additional and/or different restrictions may apply in certain states. See your Rental Agreement for additional information, at the time of rental.

RENTALS 30 DAYS OR LONGER

For rentals 30 days or longer, you must return the vehicle for maintenance or renew the contract every 30 days to the location.
