Rental Qualifications and Requirements

Hertz vehicles cannot be driven and/or dropped off outside Egypt.

In some areas outside of Cairo and main cities, tourists are required to drive in a security convoy; these leave several times a day and Hertz advises to check when making your programme.

Should these restrictions be ignored all insurance (Third Party Liability, CDW, TP), if accepted, shall be deemed, null and void. The driver will be held fully responsible in case of accidents and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle.
