Rental Qualifications and Requirements

Slovakia has introduced an electronic system of vignette payment collection for the use of specified sections of motorways and expressways. Electronic vignettes can be purchased for a specific period, regardless of the distance driven or the number of journeys.

Vignettes are automatically paid for all Slovak Hertz vehicles. For foreign vehicles entering Slovakia, they can be purchased at border crossings, most petrol stations or online at www.eznamka.sk.
