The minimum age for Hertz rentals in Northern Ireland for all vehicle groups is 25 years of age except for the vehicles listed below for which the minimum age is strictly 30 years old:

It is, however, possible to rent the following vehicle groups with a minimum age of 24 years on payment of a young driver surcharge in the amount of £ 30.84 (including tax) per day and a maximum of £ 308.40 (including tax) per rental:

The maximum age for Hertz rentals in Northern Ireland is 75 years.
Customers aged between 76 and 79 years can rent with specific conditions (you must drive on a regular basis, you will need to provide to the counter a letter from your doctor to state you have been in good health for at least 12 months and a letter from your insurance company to state you have not had an accident within the last 5 years).
