This elegantly styled SUV is a very sporty crossover and is designed for use on the road, where you can fully appreciate the agile handling and lively performance. Most versions of the F-pace use an adaptive four-wheel drive system that sends power to the rear-wheels but enlists the front wheels as driving conditions demand. These sophisticated adaptations take just a tenth of a second – it's the same system as used in the highly regarded F-Type AWD.

There’s raised ground clearance and rugged suspension for tackling the difficult surfaces too. This off-road ability is aided by some serious high-tech kit, including the ingenious Adaptive Surface Response system and continuously variable damping.

The F-pace has a powerful 3.0-liter diesel engine that give it a sports car performance, despite its size and weight. The on-road handling is like a sports car too – it’s engaging and far more fun than most SUV drivers are used to.
